Rare Serpentine Birch Austrian German Biedermeier Sofa Settee 1860s era
About the Item
Biedermeier restored 2 seat sofa. Bought from Atelier De Greef/Georges De Greef. He is part of the Art Restorers Association. He is also the official of the Milan Museum for the recognition of falsifications. He restored the sofa. It was purchased from him in 1999 in Bonn, Germany. Cherry wood frame that came from Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. All finishes are hand-applied and rubbed. Upholstered warm brown upholstered.
Dimensions: 37 3/4" h x 72" w x 24 3/4" d. Seat height 18 1/2".
