About the Item
Antique Swedish Biedermeier Empire sofa settle couch in the country style with a wealth of appliqué decoration on the front panels, arms and legs. Measure: 215cm.
It is finished in a rich mid honey French polish finish with top grade quilted golden birch veneers and an original straw stuffed bench seat with webbed back.
It really is quite something to behold and the delicacy of the carved detailing is excellent.
It has a plain wood frame open back as with all Biedermeier sofa and we will both re-polish the sofa prior to shipping.
It will ship in the original fabric ready for you to recover them in your chosen top fabric.
We can reupholster for you in your fabric for an extra cost and restuff the seat. The seat should probably have some additional stuffing added to build it up when reupholstered for greater comfort.
