Swedish Modern sofa with corduroy upholstery 1940’s

About the Item

Rare cabinet maker sofa made in Sweden in the 1940’s by a very skilled Swedish craftsman, the sofa is a very good example of the quality of the period both in Swedish modern but also just in general in Scandinavian modern. The sofa still carries the original corduroy upholstery which is still very good condition which is very uncommon thinking that the sofa is around 60 years old, the sofas legs are made of beautiful Swedish birch wood with the natural light finish which gives a beautiful contrast to the corduroy upholstery. The sofa is the perfect center piece in any style of interior from a newer more modern style of interior to a more traditional Scandinavian modern style of interior.
