About the Item
An undeniably beautiful and coveted antique 19th Century Duncan Phyfe sofa upholstered in a feline Onyx Merramec Barrow fabric. One of the brilliant minds of the colonial America, Phyfe’s signature style became representative of the New York and New England colonies of the time. This piece is completely restored and refinished, and also sports brass gold brush nail-heads. A rare neoclassic item, be the envy of collectors and historians with this sofa in your possession. Both the lumbar and throw pillows all have a trim of South African cowhide. Plush combination feather and foam inserts ensure comfort for at least another century to come.

Our team of upholsterers at Gomez Upholstery have completely replaced every component of this vintage piece. We've replaced every spring and reweaved the entire sofa to give it durability for years to come. The wood has also been refinished.
