About the Item

This vintage convertible sofa was made in the 1960s by Tatra Nábytok, Pravenec, in former Czechoslovakia. It represents a classic example of mid-century Czechoslovak design. The sofa features a wooden frame and red fabric upholstery. When extended, it transforms into a comfortable sleeping area. One of the seat modules – a footrest or extended segment – is upholstered in a different patterned fabric, adding a playful and visually interesting contrast. The piece is in very good original condition, with minor signs of use appropriate to its age. A stylish and practical piece for vintage-inspired or eclectic interiors.
