A very good looking and well-made sofa, it’s a true gentleman’s club original with the fully coil sprung frame, this piece is the highest model in the range, these sofas start with simply a tufted back, then they add the arms and finally the base as well, this is the most expensive and collectable tufted back and base option which just about as Regency in styling as you will find
Condition wise the sofa has been washed back, hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed waxed down and polished, this type of restoration gives the sofa a one off hand dyed finish that is better than new, what it also does is keeps all the original age and patina in the finish so you don't lose the charm and character that's taken so long to achieve
