On offer on this occasion is the rarest of the rare, it being an iconic, original L-Shape, 5-Seat Sectional Sofa from the world-renown furniture designer, Vladimir Kagan. As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this Kagan masterpiece, his pieces are the epitome of contemporary furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard. In a world of temporary pleasures, Kagan create beautiful furniture that remains a joy forever. Dressed in the most stunning and tactile short-pile velvet option in a versatile, neutral Pale-Grey hue. Whilst being as robust and hard-wearing as rhino skin, its softness and texture (as illustrated in the close-up images provided) is simply divine to the touch and, as with most velvets, has a darker or lighter appearance dependant on the direction of the pile, as illustrated in the images provided. With polished-chrome trim around the base (as per the picture provided) to give it an elegant, floating-effect. This piece is in superb, immaculately-maintained condition, having seen light, irregular use in the past. Its handsome order reflects the TLC and considerate use afforded it at its previous home and, aside from some light, isolated oxidisation and cosmetic-blemishes to the chrome-trim around the base (as you might expect from a piece of this vintage) is as entirely-unmarked, pristine and well-presented as you could possibly hope to find.
