About the Item
1920's English Industrial Swivelling Machinists Chairs - Pair.
We discovered these tucked away in a warehouse when clearing a batch of industrial lights in the Midlands. They are very reminiscent of Evertaut but these are 1920's and Evertaut began in the 30's, so sadly that is all we know of their history. Beautifully made with forged and rivetted strap steel they are totally original and retain the original well battered fibreboard seats and backs. Our workshop has carefully cleaned the chairs but left them original. Please note the fibreboard one one seat is loose around the rivet, we have left it as is to keep the originality. Tallest Overall Height: 89cm, Tallest Seat Height: 49cm Lowest Height: 77cm, Lowest Seat Height: 41cm
