About the Item
1940’s Original Tan-Sad Machinists Chair
1940’s Original Tan-Sad Machinists Chair – swivelling and height adjustable. One of our passions is the heritage of industrial British (and other) brands and Tan-Sad is one of our all time favourites. We found this chair in a sewing workshop in Pembrokeshire. In exceptional original condition, totally original with its trademark vulcanised card seat and back all in excellent condition. The seat can be adjusted from a height of 40cm through to 49cm. The top of the back rest sits 32cm above the seat. The chair has been cleaned and gently serviced by our workshop. The listing is for one chair.
WORKSHOP REPORT
Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
