About the Item
1960’s French swivelling Industrial chairs – set of five
1960’s swivelling French Industrial chairs – set of five. We bought this set outside Lyon and them re-upholstered by our local friend P.Main. The chairs all swivel and are height adjustable, some still have a bit of power left in the gas strut that powers the mechanism other need to be manually lifted but they all work and are practical. The original upholstery was pretty ropey so we decided to sort them out properly and can see them contrasting around a smart kitchen island. Height wise the lowest is 53cm and the highest is 72cm so a good middle height is 60/65cm. Back supports are adjustable but they don?t need it, they are comfortable with new foam under the upholstery.
