A lovely, early example of Alvar Aalto's 'Model 60' stool for Artek in lacquered birch with original painted black top. The stool is in structurally perfect condition with lots of age consistent fading and patina to the black top, including a large (very shallow) cosmetic scratch down the middle. Perfect as additional seating at a table or desk, or can also be used as a side table. Very versatile.
