The Gallery stool was a major design breakthrough when it was launched in 1998. With striking simplicity, the properties of molded plywood are pushed to the maximum limit to form a sculptural seating object. A move that lead to numerous international awards and accolades. It’s a lyrical sculpture that doubles as a stool, where emphasis is on the simple curves that convey a sense of completeness. Material : Black ash, FSC Mix 70%. Width 52cm/20.5 in Depth 36cm/14.2 in Height 48cm/18.9 in Seat height 42,5cm/16.7 in Weight 4kg Design year 1998 Designer Sandgren Jakobsen’s design breakthrough happened in 1998 with his masterpiece, the highly awarded Gallery stool, developed in collaboration with Fredericia. By pushing the properties of molded plywood to the maximum limit, a sculptural and functional construction emerged.
