CRLL#136 / Stool / Colorful Silkprinting on plywood

Edizioni Brigantino was born in 2018 in Milan through the encounter between Valentina Lucchetti and Canedicoda. Together they experiment with modes of design and spatial organization for both domestic or installation environments.In their investigative research and practice they nurture an intuitive approach that is helpful to elaborate design logic and realization processes that aim at autonomy and know-how.

Their practice is a vibrant and playful fusion of contemporary art and design. Their work is made using Chilean pine plywood as a base, adorned through a screen-printing process that is entirely performed by hand. The duo personally handles the cutting and assembly, ensuring that each piece they create is unique and unrepeatable.

This work is part of the CRLL (Coralli) collection of unique pieces, which draws romantic inspiration from the organic and ever-changing world of marine fauna, serving as a model of balance and coexistence. Only one unit of this stool exists, reflecting Edizioni Brigantino's dedication to creating singular and distinctive works.
