About the Item

Single Mobelfabrik Stool by Georg Petersens – A Blend of Danish Craftsmanship and Timeless Design** Introducing a single Mobelfabrik Danish chair or steam-bent stool designed by Georg Petersens, a renowned figure in mid-century Danish design. This versatile piece features removable backs, allowing it to transform into a stylish stool that echoes the iconic aesthetic of Alvar Aalto. You can choose to keep the backrest on for added support or remove it for a more streamlined look, enhancing the piece's adaptability to various settings. The elegant curves and clean lines of the frame reflect the exceptional craftsmanship for which Danish design is celebrated. The frames have been expertly re-polished, showcasing the beauty of the wood while ensuring durability. The seats have been lovingly restored with high-quality Italian cognac leather, providing a luxurious touch and comfortable seating. Beneath the leather, hessian adds an extra layer of support, enhancing the overall quality of the piece. Designed with practicality in mind, these stools can be unscrewed for easy shipping, fitting into a much smaller box without compromising their integrity. Assembly is straightforward, with screws tightened using included Allen keys, making them an ideal choice for those looking for functional yet stylish seating solutions. We invite you to follow us and explore our storefront for more exceptional 20th-century design pieces. **General Note**: Shipping quotes provided by 1stdibs are indicative only. Arne Jacobsen Series 7 or 3107 Chairs by Fritz Hansen Mid Century Modern 1964
By Arne Jacobsen, Fritz Hansen

A timeless icon of design this wonderful set of eight model #3107 (also known as the "Series-7") stacking dining chairs in black were designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1955. This set are an early production model with a rarely seen registered and numbered metal CAP, April 1964. In the late 60’s Fritz Hansen then changed to the more commonly seen plastic stamped CAP. The CAP carries the Made in Denmark, the Danish Control FurnitureMakers emblem and the FH logo along with the year. This is important for collectors who are not looking to buy the more usual plastic CAP chairs you find on later production models. This highly practical early set of 8 dining side chairs...
