About the Item
An elegant rattan stool designed by Dirk van Sliedrecht for Rohe Noordwolde, Holland, in the late 1950s. With a black lacquered metal base and a rattan seat.
'Dirk van Sliedregt (1920-2010) went from being a furniture maker to furniture designer to interior architect, teacher and Academy director. After WOII Dirk van Sliedregt designed over 250 modern pieces of furniture taking in consideration comfort, shortage of materials and lack of space..'
