About the Item
This fiberglass stool by Stacy Dukes is from the famous ski resort Les Arcs 1600, designed by Charlotte Perriand. It was originally used as a chair for children or in a bathroom. The front legs are reminiscent of Yanagi Sori's elephant stool, but the back legs have a streamlined shape that fits the body, making it suitable for children, and the overall chair has a cute feel. There is a stamped label on the underside of the seat.

Design:Francisco Fanucci
Material:Solid Wood
Stool designed by Francisco Fanucci in 1988.
It is designed around the theme of "sentar brasileiro brazilian seating". It is said to have been inspired by the stools used in the Brazilian countryside to keep warm by a wood stove, a traditional indigenous craft. The angle of the wood on the seat allows the stool to fit and support the body in a position similar to a squatting posture. Small and practical, it can be placed by the fireplace or used as an entryway...
