English 1870s Walnut Stool with Upholstered Seat, Nailheads and Turned Legs
About the Item
An English walnut stool with upholstered seat from the second half of the 19th century. This English wooden stool features a square seat covered in linen with brass nailhead trim. The simple skirt is raised on four turned legs, gracefully swollen in their central sections. The simple elegance of the seat and apron contrasts beautifully with the elegant curves of the legs, making this English walnut upholstered stool, circa 1860-1870 a stylish choice for any home.
