English William and Mary Period Upholstered Stool Turned Legs and Stretchers

About the Item

English William and Mary period turned leg upholstered stool with four boldly hand turned stretchers. and legs. This rare stool retains its original patination and is in excellent condition. One leg has 1/2" replacement at the foot of the leg (see photo) as the leg had worn unevenly. The upholstery is a neutral beige with contrasting cording. Circa 1680.
