Exceptional and Rare 19th Century Irish X Framed Stool

About the Item

An exceptional and rare 19th century Irish oak stool, with beautifully rich patination and grain. The padded brass studded seat is of rectangular form and upholstered in beautiful gold material. Raised over a pair of elegant, moulded and scrolling X frame supports with acanthus leaf and sphere motif detail, united with ring turned stretcher, terminating on claw foot, stunningly hand carved in high relief.
