About the Item

Green Caracoles Ceramic Stool by Forma Rosa Studio Dimensions: D 45.7 x W 45.7 x H 50.8 cm. Materials: Ceramic. Available in Green and Granite colors. This ceramic-crafted stool displays experimental glazework dripping and following its unique form. Its form has been digitally designed by our studio to resemble a fractal-like growth as in nature and then handcrafted in experimental ceramics. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance. Forma Rosa Studio is a Design Studio, based in Brooklyn New York, co-founded by Maria Teresa Castillo and Santiago Braby Brown. The studio focuses on the digital design and sourcing of limited edition, hand-crafted objects for you and your home. These functional artworks draw heavily on natural phenomena, as the studio co-founders find inspiration in the environments that they grew up in; Lima, Peru, and Bellingham, WA, together with their digital design training in New York City. Both creatives, with training in Architecture and Industrial Design, Maria and Santiago find inspiration in the development of new relationships between the digital design of our generation together with artisan craft. They push the unexpected clash between these concepts to sculpt new ways for them to create form, tactile sensations, and to find a newfound intimacy to their objects.
