About the Item

Simple Brutalist pine wood stool by Ingvar Hildingsson. This stool is also called Milking Stool as Hildingsson sought inspiration in traditional rural Nordic culture for his iconic design. By Sori Yanagi
Located in Uccle, BE
This stool was made in 1936 for the Japanese Folk Crafts Museum. Made of Japanese cherry wood and seagrass. Today, you can still see the original benches made for this museum.
