About the Item

Late 18th century George III period oak joint stool from England. The top is made from a single board and has a beveled edge. This follows down to carved decorated aprons on the front and back of the stool, and simple aprons on the shorter sides of the piece. The stool is supported on splayed and hand turned spool style legs, joined by simple stretchers and raised on hand turned bun feet.
