Leo Thafvelin for Johanson design, set of six bar stools, patinated steel, camel leather, Sweden, 1960s
Set of six eccentric bar stools designed by the Swedish designer Leo Thafvelin. The stools are executed in a thick camel leather for the seat, which is in good condition, and a brushed steel for the base. Their solid yet playful design resembles the shape of a champagne glass. The contrast of the warm leather against the cold steel base, make for a great balance in the overall elegant design. Because of the large number available, this set can be used to complement a long metropolitan cocktail bar.
Please note that these items are in good, used condition. The bottoms of the stools shows some rust spots on the steel.
