About the Item

This unique designer stool is part of the FB collection by Curro Claret — a series of sustainable stools crafted using reclaimed wood, the signature T300 metal connector, and upcycled street banner fabric salvaged from the streets of Barcelona. FB Stool No. 3 exemplifies the artist's socially engaged design philosophy, where repurposed materials become structural and expressive elements. The eye-catching used fabric banner serves both as a seating surface and a visual statement, highlighting themes of reuse, transformation, and authorship. At the core of the stool’s construction is the award-winning T300 connector, recognized internationally for its bold, inclusive, and participatory approach to contemporary design. Designer Biography: Curro Claret is a Barcelona-based designer renowned for his socially conscious, experimental design practice. Educated at Elisava and Central Saint Martins, Claret has worked independently since 1998, often in collaboration with social organizations and non-traditional makers, including people at risk of social exclusion. In addition to his design work, Claret has taught at Elisava and other leading institutions, with his projects featured in international exhibitions, design publications, and honored with numerous awards for innovation and social impact.
