Mid 19th century birch empire stool circa 1850.
Scandinavian empire period stool made in birch. Shaped support handles which flow through to the 4 splayed legs. Original floral tapestry seat covering.
Minor restorations to woodwork, expected fading to tapestry. Additional metalwork to legs for support. Ready for everyday use in places such as the dressing table, hallway or even the piano.
