About the Item

A set of 2 bar stools by Thomas Hayes Studio with beautiful old growth rosewood slats from Brazil. Frames are steel powder coated in a matte black finish. Price of $1,350 is per stool. WOOD OPTIONS: Walnut, Oak, Mahogany, or Rosewood FINISH OPTIONS: Satin Lacquer in Natural, Ebonized, or Stained, or specially formulated Hand-Rubbed Oil in a variety of custom shades. These oil finishes are flat, water proof and penetrate deeply, bonding with the upper fibers of the wood to create a silky surface that feels “finished” but looks like raw wood. Available in Blanched, Pure, Gray, Chocolate, & Charcoal. BASE OPTIONS: Base is available in flat black (as shown), dark bronze, white, or gray finished steel. Solid brass is available in brushed, light patina, or dark patina CONDITION: For any custom pieces with solid wood, we deliberately choose to use beautifully figural wood that may have some irregularities. You can expect much variation in grain and some knots, slight cracks, and small filled knot holes that are naturally occurring in the completed pieces. It is part of our aesthetic and process when making hand crafted pieces to not attempt to hide these natural irregularities that we believe make a piece more beautiful and unique. Seat measures 14" wide and 14" deep with a seat depth of 12.5". Dimensions below are for largest measurements at the base of the stool. These bar stools are limited edition and are available in a variety of woods: Solid Walnut, Oak, Mahogany ($900 each) and Rosewood ($100 more per stool). Bar stool seat height ranges from 29-31", so all our models come in 31" seat height. They can easily be cut down 1" or 2" per your requirements and at no additional charge. These stools can be cut down to counter stool height.
