Pair of decorative sculptural "Jonte" stools by Swedish designer and architect Gilbert Marklund (1927-2006), designed in 1969.
They are made of black stained solid oak and were manufactured in the 1980s either at Furab or Furusnickarns AB in Lövånger.
The stools are a good example of Scandinavian simplicity inspired by old Swedish furniture from the countryside.
The stools remain in good vintage condition.
