Pair of Louis XVI Leather Ottoman Stools
About the Item
Pair of handsome demi lune vintage Louis XVI leather ottoman stools. Covered in cognac colored leather and tufted in the middle. The gilt wood legs are carved in a spiral design. Paired together the stools form a circle. Structure of the pair was created circa 18th century. French.
No obvious markings on the piece.
In good condition, some gentle fading. Lush and mellow wear on leather consistent with age and use. The leather was reupholstered in the early 20th century.
This pair would make a great feature in any home.
