Pierre Chapo S31B Stool in Solid Elm, Chapo Creation, France
About the Item
This striking three-legged stool is the model S31 designed by Pierre Chapo in 1974. The cross legged base and round seat are in solid elm wood. This stool also (could work) works well as a small side table.
We have three pieces in stock available for immediate shipment. Each stool is completely unique, so please note that the exact wood grain of the top and legs may differ from stool to stool. Please contact us for pictures of the exact stools in stock.
This new stool was made by Chapo Creation, now run by Pierre Chapo's son and grandson. Based in Southern France, this artisanal company produces the official reissues of Chapo's designs. All pieces are hand made, using the same materials and techniques as the earlier productions (types of elm wood as the earlier productions). Each piece is stamped.
We also have a slightly lower version of this model available as can be seen in the last picture of the listing.
