Primitive Japanese Wooden Stools, Wabi-Sabi, Japandi

About the Item

Small yet with a strong presence. This stool has a cherry wood seat and keyaki wood legs. Carefully assembled from sturdy materials, it is a simple yet beautiful piece. The seat still bears traces of carving, and the softness and traces that can only be achieved by hand carving add depth of character. The simplicity of a tool and the gentleness of a piece of furniture. This stool quietly embodies both, with an honest appearance. *This is an antique in good condition, but there are small scratches and slight distortions other than those shown in the detailed images. Weight:2kg - About Us - Based in Japan, we reinterpret high-quality Japanese furniture from the Taisho period, a fusion of Western culture and Japanese craftsmanship, and upcycle it into "modern Japanese furniture." Each piece is carefully repaired by a skilled craftsman, and reborn as furniture to be passed down to the next generation. We deliver beautiful and functional Japanese furniture that will be loved for generations to come.
