Regency Style Oak Camel Elephant Saddle Stool with Curule Legs
About the Item
Diminutive camel or elephant saddle stool or armchair crafted from oak in the regency taste. The hardwood oak frame features an x-form curule leg construction. The arms have scrolled, reeded hands with padded rests. The gracefully curved back has round finials on each end. Upholstered with an opulent red velvet fabric bordered by patinated brass tack nail heads. The generous seat has a woven raffia cushion. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a lovely aged patina on the finish. Includes a royal blue throw pillow with rope tassels. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
