Set of 3 Bamboo & Leather Bar Stools by HORSNÆ, Denmark, 1970s
About the Item
These bar stools distinguish themselves thanks to their elegantly curved shape and well proportioned dimensions. Especially reed covered joints give this ensemble the extra little bit of finesse.
Set on sturdy frames and made from stained bamboo with dark leather seats and back rests, these stools are in still good condition, albeit with some wear and patina after 50+ years of home entertainment - a testament to the craftsmanship applied by the Danish manufacturer HORSNÆ.
On one chair a screw was replaced by a previous owner with a slightly different screw bolt (please see photos for details).
The natural materials used on these Mid-Century Modern bar stools will allow them to be paired with a wide verity of interior design styles: from the lived-in shabby chic look of the Parisian Boho atelier, to the neo-industrial or minimalist aesthetic of a loft apartment with exposed brickwork and concrete floors.
