A pair of classic mid-century brown leather swivel bar stools for Inca Products, USA, circa 1960s in the style of the legendary Cleo Baldon. Price is for the pair. This vintage pair feature wrought iron frame with lattice seat backs and brown cushions. And they swivel. Super comfortable for hanging out in the kitchen and swiveling through long nights with friends. Combines Classic California Modern design with European and Spanish motifs. These bar stools would look tremendous in any Mid-Century Modern, post modern, Danish Modern, Brazilian modern, or contemporary environment. Each: 25.25” H x 27.25” W x 25” D These are a great pair of mid-century Erik Ole Jorgnensen easy chairs in a stunning cognac suede. Really great Danish Modern design. Very good overall condition. Frames appear to retain their original finish and have minor wear, scratches, scuffing as expected with age. Cognac suede slings are in very good condition with some minor wear along the seat rail. Beautiful set of three, 1970s Robert Maxwell stoneware critter sculptures for Earthgender. The set includes: three critters. Very good condition. See photos. Shows extremely well. Two of the three are signed on underside. Robert Maxwell has always worked with stoneware. Stoneware is a high-fire ware, second only to porcelain in terms of vitrification. Objects usually emerge from the bisque firing a light tan color but can be turned to rust (red-brown) by reduction (reducing the amount of oxygen in the kiln.) Maxwell generally favors the rust colored body, which he often leaves unglazed when producing his signature style animals. His animals start life just like any other object on the potter’s wheel. The difference is that midway in the process a typical vessel form morphs into an imaginary animal. The open top becomes the mouth of the beast and the base, with the addition of a tail, becomes the rear end...
