A rare and fabulous find—this set of four Mid-20th Century Venetian Grotto counter stools features iconic shell-carved backs and elegant cabriole-style legs. Each stool swivels smoothly and stands out with freshly updated details that bring new life to a classic silhouette. Details: • Iconic Venetian Grotto style with sculptural shell backs • Newly upholstered in a soft, textured Sunbrella fabric for durability and easy care • New swivel mechanisms installed—functioning smoothly and evenly • Metal footrest rings have been professionally powder-coated in a sleek silver finish • Painted in a crisp white finish—while not original, it’s a significant improvement from their prior condition • Please note: the stools have been previously painted. Minor imperfections in the surface and carving remain and are typical of age and use Condition: Overall excellent condition with expected wear to the carved wood frames beneath the newer paint. The paint job is clean and presentable but not flawless—some surface irregularities and small touch-ups are visible upon close inspection.
