About the Item

This is an old Japanese wooden small stool. It has a simple shape and is fastened with nails, but it is very solid and does not wobble. The wood is mainly pine, and one of the legs is made of oak. It has thick wood, so it is heavier than it looks. It weighs about 3 kg. There are traces of nails fixing the cracked tip of the leg. The condition is relatively good. Because it has been used for a long time, the seat has a slightly glossy and tasteful atmosphere. And the wood grain on both sides of the legs has a different atmosphere, giving it a cool finish that feels wabi-sabi. Another attractive feature is that the inside of the seat and legs are roughly cut, giving it a different look. Please use it together with your favorite low table.
