We are delighted to offer for sale this exceptionally rare original 19th century circa 1880 Italian Venetian height adjustable Grotto Fantasy stool after the genius that is CIE Pauly
What a piece, it is absolutely amazing, this has to be one of the most iconic designs to come out of Venice Italy, this stool is sculptural, sophisticated and works well in any setting. Ideally suited as a piano or dressing table stool
In terms of the condition there will be good honest patina marks all over, none of which the restoration process was designed to hide, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom,
