Founded in 1841 by the saddler Arentz , it was taken over in 1879 by AJ Lysberg (1840-1901). The company became Lysberg & Hansen in 1911, when cabinetmaker Waldemar Hansen joined the company and later in 1933 Lysberg, Hansen & Therp. The company enjoyed continued success throughout the 20th century and was responsible for many important commissions including the decoration for the wedding of Princess Margrethe and Henri de Laborde...
