About the Item

Very rare adjustable swivel stool especially made for architects designed by Margarete Kloeber in the 1930s. The stool has four spiral springs under the seat allowing the user to move in any desired direction. It also has a rotating steel footrest with wooden caps on both sides and a seat height adjustment. All this makes this stool very practical and comfortable and it can be used in so many different ways. Great Industrial Bauhaus design in very good condition & 100% original condition. Lovely patina with age-related signs of use. Fully functional. Suitable for all living areas and highly decorative. Design & manufacturer: Margarete Kloeber, Polstergleich. Germany, 1930s Depth: 59 cm Width: 55 cm Seat: 35 cm in diameter Seat height: 67 cm minimum to 92 cm maximum This is an original piece and has lived a life before. Therefore it will show signs of wear and patina, which gives this stool its unique charming look.
