Milo Baughman Style Chevron Fabric Tufted Swivel Barrel Tub Chairs
About the Item
Elegant pair of Milo Baughman style vintage tub chairs with swivel base. These chairs were updated some time in the early 90s with it’s current chevron fabric. The pattern is a chevron ombre with graduating tones of mauve, gray, and blue. Arguably one of the most comfortable chair designs with the barrel back cradling the body. No seat is a bad seat with a swivel base. Simply sway your body to rotate the chair toward your desired vantage point. The quilted and button tufted back pillow follows the graceful crescent shape of the chair. These tub chairs very strongly resemble Milo Baughman’s chair for Thayer Coggin. Our chairs have been reupholstered and no longer have the original manufacturer’s label. We can tell that the original owner invested a pretty penny in refurbishing these chairs. The upholsterer added her own label denoting the work, “Re-upholstered especially for you by Sandra Adkins.”

- Condition:Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. VERY VERY VERY GOOD condition. Orignal owner reupholstered chairs. Fabric has been steam cleaned. Excellent condition except minor wear on arm tips. Swivel mechanism is in fine working order.
