An exemplary and very rare pair of Flair tub swivel chairs in style of Milo Baughman, circa 1970s. His signature style, defined by clean lines and architectural simplicity, expresses an acute awareness of the evolution of design. Swivel chairs have been evolving into comfortable, plush and versatile statement pieces. Generously scaled, the barrel design features deep, luxurious tufts along the curved back and armrests, detailed piping and removable seat cushion to evoke a modern vibe. Inviting seat fully swivels 360 degrees, appearing to float above a circular wood swivel base, chair looks good from every angle. Their generous curves and welcoming proportions render the chairs both extremely comfortable, and strikingly bold for any interior setting. Completely restored, newly upholstered in a luxurious seafoam blue mohair and resting on high stained bases. These bold club / lounge chairs are as versatile as aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary.
