18th Century primitive Lincolnshire comb back armchair. Constructed primarily from ash with a pierced Gothic splat and thick elm seat. The chair shows traces of its original green paint. A wonderful large sculptural chair of great colour that is heavy and comfortable. England, circa 1760.
