1970s Organic Modern Root Throne Chair
About the Item
Exceptional and majestic carved root throne chair. This amazing example of a wonderful old growth Organic Modern furniture making. Good overall condition with the proper amount of weathering and wear. Nice oiled patina. The natural voids and knots are a continuously evolving visual detail. This piece originates from a single owner Berkshire country estate. Signed with burn in stamp, Root 32 Gallery. Circa 1970-80. The branch like legs masterfully hold the weight and girth of that beautiful back and seat. Accentuating nature at its best.
Structurally sound and sturdy design. Minor cosmetic wear, scratches and weathering.
