French 18th Century Reclining Wing Chair

About the Item

18th century highly unusual French Louis XVI painted reclining wing chair. The very high back with a carved and shaped top. The shallow wings on a channelled frame, the whole back reclining on steel ratchets. The arms carved with acanthus leaves and scrolls that also extend. Reupholstered in antique linen.
