About the Item

1950’s Tall French Klappet Cabinet – Twenty Four Klappets. Good sized practical cabinet, very well made with a pitch pine structure and a clean sun bleached oak front. The cabinet is original throughout, with brass hinges, name card holders and turned wood pull knobs. Our workshop has serviced the cabinet, all klappets open and shut cleanly and small push/pull clips hold them in place. The klappet pigeon holes are a practical size for magazines and A4 documents. Internal dimensions: D33, W35, H17. All in cm. Workshop Report: Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
