Early 20th Century German Industrial Drawer Plan Cabinet
About the Item
Early 20th century german plan cabinet from a factory office.
All-round coffered cuboid ebonised solid wood body with 2 doors under a slightly protruding profiled top. Inside there are 10 shallow drawers in which large mechanical plans for production were originally stored. The two shelves next to them could be used to store files, for example.
Dimensions:
102.5 cm high / 40.35 inch high,
132 cm wide / 51.96 inch wide,
83 cm deep / 32.67 inch deep.
Internal dimensions of the drawers:
7 cm high / 2.75 inch high,
76.5 cm wide / 30.11 inch wide,
63 cm deep / 24.8 inch deep.
Authentic piece in slightly restored condition ready for everyday use. Among other things, surface sanded, refurbished and sealed without destroying the original patina; depth shortened by 20 cm; new shelf added; black lacquered iron shell handles mounted.
The furniture cannot be dismantled for transport (shortest side 83 cm). The drawers can be removed.
