    Crafted in 17th century Spain circa 1670, or probably coming from a private chapel ceiling, the interesting mirror features six carved cherub head figures around the recessed frame, and embellished with high relief motifs in the corners including gargoyle, angel, grotesque and eagle sculptures. The octagonal mirror has the original mercury glass behind the original wood backing; the glass has visible wear spots which give lots of character to the very ancient piece.
