1950's Mid Century Witco Scroll Carved Cedar Chest

About the Item

Incredible ornately carved cedar hump blanket chest. Scroll work carving on edges and top. Very large, thick and heavy piece all fashioned together with wooden pegs. Large metal door hinges support lid. Barrel lock, no key, circa 1960s, attributed to the works of William Westenhaver/Witco. Original finish/condition.
