'there's two antique dealers on a deserted island - business is great' - told me this tale. "So Heather (that's me) I bought this chest from the great grandson who told me that one day his great grand ma asked his great grand pa for a blanket chest. The grand pa went out into their property, cut down a tree and made this for her. Later they used it to hold the feed for their cow." Not exactly Wordsworth, but it's a tale nonetheless.
