Early 18th Century Continental Fruitwood Marriage Chest Coffer

About

Small walnut marriage chest, circa 1700. Poker work on the front with initials in a fleur de lys design, flanked either side by doves. No lock present. Top with extensive restorations, hard wax to age splits to top and later woodwork supports on the inside of the lid. Measures: Height 13 3/4", width: 33 3/4", depth: 16".
