Large Carved Oak Mule Chest, Green Man Marriage Chest This is a profusely carved Marriage chest, the coffer has many detailed carved panels. On the front we have 2 family crests on either side of the Green man’s face, and on the top we have another smiling Green Man This is a lovely old piece, and is in remarkably good condition for its age, unusually it has two drawers at the bottom rather than one, these have lost their locks Inside the chest is clean, the coffer is in good condition for its years, there minor dings The coffer is 48” long, 24” deep and 33” high SH201
